Daniel Knauf is best known as the creator, executive producer and head writer of the award winning HBO cult series, CARNIVÀLE. He has since produced and/or written for a number of television series including: SUPERNATURAL, MY OWN WORST ENEMY starring Christian Slater and SPARTACUS: BLOOD AND SAND. Knauf was the showrunner on DRACULA starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and Executive Producer and writer on the NBC hit series BLACKLIST starring James Spader.

Knauf has also written graphic novels with his son, Charles Knauf, collaborating on The Invincible Iron Man, Captain America: Theater of War, and The Eternals for Marvel Comics as well as the SyFy pilot/mini, THE PHANTOM. His theatrical screenplays include development of a feature-trilogy, THE HOUSE OF CAIN, for Will Smith and Overbrook Productions, writing its first installment, THE HOUSE OF CAIN: REDEMPTION, as well as HONEY VICARRO for Flame Productions and his latest feature, A GOOD RUN, which is currently a standing top-pick on Hollywood’s Black List of best unproduced screenplays. He founded and serves as CEO of Bxx, LLC, a studio specializing in transmedia and VR narratives.
